Naturist values
Naturism
Our world and its phenomena cannot be interpreted in isolation, similarly man and nature cannot be separated from one another. We are equal with earth, sky, flowers, every small creatures, trees, water, and sunshine. If we senselessly kill plants, animals, pollute the air, soil and water then we will hurt also ourselves. Nevertheless we cannot leave nature to uncontrolled proliferation either, because we simply cannot live in a haggard anti-human world. To live with and in nature means accepting unity with nature.
Acceptance, empathy, tolerance
These words are so often used in any social conversation, but are we indeed aware of the behaviour pattern associated with them? Let’s analyse and interpret them for a while!
Acceptance is the pre-condition for clear vision. If you can accept yourself with all inefficiencies in terms of body, intellect, spiritual beauty and defaults, i.e. you accept that you are exactly what you are, then you will be also able to accept the other person, because you have clarity of vision, there is nothing to be afraid of, and you have created your internal self-reliance. Otherwise you re-paint reality and make them black and white or colourful, i.e. your vision gets blurred, things become beyond interpretation and give way to fear. If you cannot accept and love yourself, then you have doubts whether you can be loved or not, you are not aware of your limits and opportunities. Thus you may look hostile onto others assuming that they don’t like you, you are despised, underestimated, ridiculed, betrayed behind your back, etc. Fear is the no. 1 enemy to empathy. If empathy is absent, tolerance is also missing. This is exactly why I think that acceptance is indispensable for securing peaceful co-existence of a naturist community, because it can provide security and confidence. It can give a kind of internal peace though which we are capable of reacting with tolerance, loving and humane approach to events around us.
